Frequently asked questions
Well not that frequently, but we are sure you have some questions.
What tasks I can use.
We've included many common, configurable tasks. And we keep adding more. You can write your own tasks too. Please get a free license to check all the available tasks.
Is it really local?
100%! It's like a local app that runs in your browser. If you call internet URLs like OpenAI API, or our owns, they will be called from your browser. Your jobs are saved in your browser. We've built APIs and a proxy server that you "can" use, but we don't store any data.
Is there any cost for running the jobs?
Not at all. Your tasks, you run, you take home. Just remember if you use 3rd party APIs like OpenAI, you may be charged by them.
Where can I run the jobs?
In your browser. But you can also export the job to run it on your own machine or in any cloud.
Do I've to use my own OpenAI API key?
Yes, only if you use AI task. But it's optional. You use your own API key, which is very cheap. We don't store your API key. It's stored securely in your browser.
Is it like Zapier?
Yes and no. Zapier is a cloud tool for connecting different apps. AIWorkflow is local and it's for building and running tasks without using cloud software. You can use it to run Zapier tasks too. It's heavily AI powered as well.
How is it like the Canva® for code?
It's a low-code task/script builder. Where you have access to many tasks and you can write your own tasks too. You just drag and drop tasks and connect them to build a task chain. Run them locally or export them to run in cloud. You're the orchestrator.
